Donohue’s Chris Safford, PE is a featured presenter at the Missouri WEA Stormwater / Watershed Management Conference on Monday, September 19, 2016. His presentation is titled "Faxon Creek Watershed Study (City of Superior, WI) – The benefits of 2 Dimensional Stormwater Modeling". This annual conference provides an overview of various stormwater and watershed issues, discusses specific solutions, and provides an overview and updates regarding the State rules and regulations regarding stormwater.
Chris is experienced in managing and designing various federal, municipal, and private development projects. He has expertise in numerous aspects of civil engineering design and construction including drinking water distribution, storm and sanitary sewer collection, general site design, federal and military facilities, construction oversight and inspection, and the design/build delivery methodology. In addition, Chris brings a wealth of experience in hydraulics, hydrology, H&H modeling, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). His projects often involve using GIS and modeling software such as SWMM, HYRDA, StormCAD and/or HEC-RAS to solve stormwater management problems, provide flood control, mitigate combined sewer overflows (CSO) and sanitary sewer overflows (SSO), and resolve various other water resources challenges. In addition, Chris has worked with and for the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to overcome stormwater challenges and meet the goals of MSD.
