Engineering News-Record (ENR) has ranked Donohue & Associates No. 17 in the wastewater treatment plant category in its annual compilation of top U.S. engineering firms. This is up two spots from 2017 and puts Donohue alongside some of the largest engineering firms in the country.
Craig Brunner, Donohue President, remarked, “Our staff are passionate about helping clients develop innovative wastewater treatment solutions. Treating wastewater has become more than just meeting permit limits. With new technologies, our employees have been focusing on recovering resources at treatment plants. This includes energy, nutrients, and biosolids. Donohue has moved up in the ENR rankings for the fourth year in a row. Our hardworking employees deserve to feel a sense of accomplishment and pride to be part of a team recognized as one of the largest wastewater treatment firms in the United States.”
Formed in 1997, Donohue is an employee-owned engineering firm specializing in water, wastewater, stormwater, and transportation services. Offices are located in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Michigan, and Wisconsin.
ENR is a weekly publication serving as the construction industry’s authority on construction and engineering issues. Each year ENR compiles the Design Firms Sourcebook, which provides market analysis and rankings of the largest architectural and engineering firms. The rankings are based on revenues and divided into eight major industry sectors and nearly 50 specific project types. Donohue also moved up eight spots from last year in the Sewer and Waste category and is now ranked No. 42 nationally.
